Opus Vela products are designed around visible control, editable work, recoverable history, and bounded automation.
Focused applications
Each application must solve a distinct job and remain independently useful. A shared family does not create a forced shared runtime or monorepo.
Human control
Generated or agent-proposed work remains inspectable. Approval, revision, and recovery are product surfaces rather than hidden infrastructure.
Local trust
Private speech, local histories, and creative project files stay local where that materially improves privacy, resilience, or ownership.
Useful cloud
Hosted sync, rendering, and collaboration are introduced only when they provide a clear service. Cloud access does not become permission to lock local work.
